Studio Policy
1) Please attend lessons as arranged. Change of learning time should be made at least two days in advance, for emergencies or illness only, and substitute lessons will be arranged if possible. Please give notice in advance regarding family vacation to arrange for make up classes.2) There is no reduction in tuition for missed lessons. However you are welcome to schedule a make-up when your child is sick; up to 2 times for each calendar year. NO MAKE UP WILL BE GIVEN IF CANCELLATION IS ON THE LESSON DAY!!!
3) If the student misses an arranged make up lesson, there will be no further make up lessons provided. 4) Students will be charged $5 late fee if tuition is paid late more than 1 month, and $25 for a returned cheque. Parents are welcome to pay by posted-dated cheque every three months to avoid the late fee.
5) Under adverse weather conditions, the lessons can be switched to Zoom with the link provided in the lessons reminder emails weekly.
6) Please give one month notice in advance about your termination of your study here at the studio.
7) Besides preparing for Royal Conservatory Exams in either terms during the year, or the Peel/Mississauga Music Festivals/ORMTA assessments, students are encouraged to attend our yearly Recitals (free), and other community performances such as Fun Afternoon Fundraiser Concert, Young Artist Concert (purchase tickets). 8) Parents are encouraged to read all notes (includes Monthly Tuition Statement, upcoming events, exam information...) weekly in the students' binder to keep up with their progress of learning at the studio.
